One little teeny tiny item that is a GREAT additional to your travel items is a rechargeable battery for your smart phones. When I was out and about walking all day long, I couldn’t always find a place to plug in my iPhone and charge it, so this little piece of technology was marvellous! A mini folding umbrella – ooh la la :-)
I wanted to design a mini folding umbrella with French words all over it, in a happy bright colour to make a statement in the streets of Paris on a grey winter’s day. This is my first one:

Pack of Playing Cards for your holiday?
Whether you’re going on holidays overseas or interstate, a pack of playing cards is always a great thing to bring with you.
This deck has 54 cards, with my design on their back – French words and phrases which make me think of being in Paris.
I also found a font (typeface) which reminds me the art deco Metro signs in Paris – what do you think? Does it look ok to you?

A Paris Shoulder Bag with a very cool photo of Paris! (mine!)
The first of my new website products is a fabulous Paris shoulder bag which is large enough for a laptop, and strong enough to carry 2 reams of paper.
I chose this photo of mine because it brings together the old and the new – a Citroen 2CV car (the old) and a Velib bicycle point (the new mode of transport). I decided to colourise it and I’m very pleased with the way it turned out – do you like it?

Netbook Cover with Paris car photo and Velib bikes
Making this Netbook Cover with Paris car photos was such fun – I took this photo in Paris a couple of years ago, and couldn’t believe my luck when I saw the Citroen 2CV (Deux Chevaux = 2 ‘Horse’ power) coming towards me (it’s such a French icon, I love it!) alongside the row of Velib bicycles.
I decided to colourise it a bit to give it an olde worlde feel – as I combined the old (2CV) and new (Velibs) in one photo — I hope you like it!

I’m thrilled to announce that I have been designing drink coasters and cushion covers (and soon to be handbags, umbrellas, smartphone cases like iPhone, Android, Blackberry etc) and much more — all with a Paris theme, using my own handpainted designs and photos.
