Wondering where can I find decaf coffee in Paris?
The good news is that you can find decaf coffee in Paris in just about EVERY cafe :-)
I’m Australian, and when I lived in the USA I mostly heard people asking for decaffeinated coffee as “deekaf” (decaf), so when I moved to Paris I got used to hearing people order “deh-kah” (deca) in most cafes. Different pronunciation, but available most places
If you want to order deca in a Paris cafe, here are a few ways to do so:
How to order:
I would like one decaf coffee please.
It’s also acceptable to just say these phrases:
Please note, deca coffee is made with coffee beans, not instant coffee powder found in other countries.
Are you American, or used to Starbucks Decaf?
