Looking for Paris Quilt Shops?
Question about Paris Quilt Shops & Exhibits from Denise:
Teena, We have rented an apartment in Paris between Christmas and New Years in Le Marais. Any recommendations for Paris quilt shops (or patchwork shop)s in that area? we read what you have on the blog and would love to connect with other quilters – any suggestions?

Hi there Denise,
Thanks for visiting my website and lucky you being in Paris over Christmas!
I do provide info about quilting stores on my websites, and although I’m not a quilter, I do love fabric and often scour the fabric stores in Montmartre when I’m in Paris.
I just used the Search box on my site and typed the word: quilt
These are the results I got, and there may be more information for you here:

Other suggestions:
- If you are part of any quilt or textile groups, post a message on their lists to see if anyone can recommend any quilt stores, events, exhibitions etc – this is what I do to find out more information.
- If you’re not part of any quilt groups, search for QUILT (or textile) FORUM online, join, and ask questions on their forums – this will be the fastest way to get information.
- Otherwise search on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube for – QUILTING PARIS – and see what you find.
- You can also contact the stores I’ve listed on my website, email them and ask if they can recommend local quilters etc.
I do hope this helps, and I wish you all the best for a delightful Christmas and Yuletide in the city I love – Paris!
Cheers
Teena (on a hot steaming morning in Sydney, Australia)

Thanks for the kind reply, and I greatly appreciate your website! It’s great. We will check these places out. Wow, you go Sydney to Paris! That’s a haul…..it sounds like everyone goes to the shop near Notre Dame. I greatly appreciate you assistance.
Happy Holidays!
