Romantic Christmas in Paris – Mark’s question:

My partner and I are coming to Paris over Christmas (first time we have been abroad at xmas) so would like it to be special. So we would like something planned for xmas Eve, and Xmas night, and would appreciate ideas of where to eat (not too expensive) and maybe some entertainment in the evening ?
we were thinking of seeing the Paradis Latin show and meal – what are your thoughts ?

If you’re looking for a lovely typically French restaurant away from the tourist crowds, you might like to try out my personal favourite – it’s in the 11th arrondissement at Metro Voltaire, and is walking distance from the Bastille monument in the 4th arrondissement:

Other ideas – you could stroll down the Champs Elysees under the Christmas lights for a moment of romance, watch the Christmas illuminations, attend a Church service at St Sulpice or Sacre Coeur, go ice skating .. ahhhh spoilt for choice!
