Paris restaurants open on Christmas Day
Is there any central place, such as a website, that shows which Parisian restaurants will be opened for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for lunch and/or dinner?
Especially in the 5e (5th arrondissement)?
I will be arriving in Paris early afternoon on Christmas Eve and will have no time, except at home, to do the research.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Answer: Paris restaurants open on Christmas Day?
Hi there J, good question!
I’ve done a bit of research online, and found that a great source of this information is Guide Michelin (Michelin Red Guide), which indicates whether or not a restaurant will be open on Christmas Day.
Many of the more well-known will be open, for example Bofinger 4eme, Julien, le Boeuf sur le Toit.
If you have already booked your accommodation, I highly recommend contacting the people you have booked with, and ask them the same question. They will have a much more intimate knowledge of the 5th arrondissement than I do, and will no doubt be able to give you local knowledge.
I do have a page of Brasseries on my site, some of which have websites listed. You could perhaps visit these too.
TIP!! Make a reservation a.s.a.p.
When you find a restaurant, I do recommend you book as early as possible.
Although there may be many restaurants closed over the Christmas holidays, reopening in the New Year, I would suggest that the main tourist areas — the Champs Elysées, the Latin Quarter, Montparnasse — will have plenty of tourists looking for Christmas meals.
Here is a link of restaurants for you:

Hope this helps!
