This is a huge lifestyle salon, filled with craft and food stores, with lots of health exhibits.
Early May – June : La Fete des Enfants du Monde
Festival of Children of the World
This is a Franco-Japanese festival with fabulous shows, exhibitions and concerts at various venues across Paris.

Mid May : Festival Jazz a Saint-Germain-des-Pres
This is a wonderful 10 day celebration of jazz and blues across various venues in Paris. One of my favourite festivals :-)
Mid May – early June : Quinzaine des Realisateurs
Quinzaine is the French word for ‘fortnight’ – a period of two weeks. This is the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight programme right here in Paris.

Each year a group of 250 artists open their 100+ art studios – this year’s theme is ‘Recycling’. Guests this year will also be the group Chave Mestra and the Association des Beaux Arts du Viet-Nam Hoy My Thuât. Additional bonus: Friday 11 May, a Brazilian fiesta in place Ste Marthe (10th) to get everyone bopping, and on Saturday 12 May there will be a big dance at place Maurice Chevalier (20th). A fashion parade showcasing the “recycled” designs will be on the Ménilmontant church steps.
