If you’re looking for fun activities for kids at the circus while you’re in Paris, I’ve found a few for you to check out.
You may find that circuses are taken rather seriously in France. They are considered to be culture as performance art – including the performing animals :-). Some have permanent venues, for example the Winter Circus – the most beautiful in Paris – the nineteenth-century Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione. Where to find othersw? Look for details of the seasonal ones under “Cirques” (meaning circuses) in the “Pour les Jeunes” (meaning for the young) section of L’Officiel des Spectacles; also look under the same heading in the “Enfants” (Children) section of Pariscope, as there may well be touring circuses from Moscow or Warsaw while you’re in Paris.
