Which Paris arrondissements do you recommend?

An “arrondissement” is a suburb, an area of the city of Paris, and there are so many which stand out for different reasons, but here are just a few of my favourite areas which I’m happy to recommend.
🟪 Le Marais – 75003 and 75004, 3rd and 4th arrondissements – if you’d like to be located near the centre, check out these areas which are great for walking around, exploring and can be quite lively (I used to live in the 4th and love going back and staying in this area to feel like I STILL live there!)
🟪 Saint-Germain-des-Prés – 75006, the 6th arrondissement – is a very safe, classic and elegant part of Paris
🟪 Rive Gauche – Left Bank of the River Seine – the 7th arrondissement will possibly suit you quite well if you’re a newcomer to Paris, it’s calm and beautiful
🟪 Opéra – 75001 and 75002 – 1st and 2nd arrondissement are very central, an easy area to have as your base, and well connected to all the attractions
🟪 Latin Quarter – the 5th arrondissement – is very vibrant, home of many artists, is historic and student-friendly.
All of these neighbourhoods are safe, walkable and well connected, ideal for solo travellers, friend groups, couples and families – in fact everyone :D
