My name is Barb M. and at present I am touring France and interested in finding interesting clothing in large sizes.

Im about size 24 depending on the design. Im actualy from Canberra, Australia.

Would love to do a tour with with you but unfortunately I am here now and desperate to find something to buy – and the sales are starting soon! I will be in Paris for a week approximately Jan 23-Feb 1, 2009 – is it possible to give me any tips???

I would be very greatful as local knowledge is always best.

We will most likely be moving here next year but haven’t as yet decided on an area, so may yet be able to do a tour with you then, it sounds like fun.

Lovely to hear from you! I’m located in Sydney and I spend a month or so in Paris every year.

There are some very fashionable plus size stores all over France, so you may find something fab before you get to Paris.

I do have a page of plus size stores listed on my Paris website (this page), which should help a lot, and I do have a few stores listed outside of Paris – and just so you know what to ask for, the French for “plus size” is Femmes Rondes (pronounced Fem Rond) or Grandes Tailles (pronounced Gron Tye).

Postcodes for Paris are 75001 – 75020. Other postcodes are in other parts of France.

And you’re moving to Paris next year – ahhhh that’s my goal, to get back there a.s.a.p – I used to live in the 4th district (75004) but also enjoy the 11th very much, where I spent June this year (2008) in a fabulous 100m sq. apartment.
