Where to find a Salon de Thé in Paris

If you’re wondering where to find a Salon de Thé in Paris, you have a wealth of choices. There are so many dotted around the city for you to pop into. When I lived in the 4th arrondissement, one of my favourites was Le Loir dans le Theiere, within walking distance.

I received an enquiry from John in the UK asking if I could locate a Salon de Thé by the name of Le Marché – and I have. Hope this is what you’re looking for John – feel free to post a message/comment below and let me know after you’ve visited.

Le Marché

Place du Marché Sainte-Catherine
75004 Paris

The Place du Marché Sainte-Catherine is a delightful cobblestoned square – leafy and so pretty in summer, and lovely lights glowing from bistros across the empty limbs of the trees in winter.

Le Marché is a brasserie serving up traditional lunches or a simple cup of tea or coffee. The terrace is heated in winter and has a certain lived-in charm.
