i need your help,if u can let me know any shop in Paris where from i can get all the supples related to silk painting like paints, gutta , silk fabric, wooden frame , dilute etc. and if they deliver the material in paris .

If you’re looking for a shop which will deliver to your home, there’s a fantastic place online called Aubijoux. The owner is very helpful and they ship their goods all over Europe. You can see all their products on their website:

Many art supply stores sell products for painting on silk, simply ask for “les produits pour la peinture sur soie” (“products for painting on silk”).

Marabu is an excellent brand available in France, and Dupont is probably the most famous French silk dye.

Wooden frames are available in all art supply stores across France, they press together at each corner very easily – you can see a sample in the photo above.

There are some fantastic French books on silk painting, quite a few written by Lydie Ottelart.
