Dear Kay, thanks so much for dropping by my website about Paris.

I'm sorry I'm not able help you with your question - I don't live in Paris (unfortunately) and I don't know the Departures magazine, what country it's published in or distributed to, or what shoes you're actually looking for. If you would like to send me a photo, I could post it for you on my website to see if any of my website visitors might know where to find the shoes you're looking for.

Perhaps you might like to try searching online for Expat Forums in France - you'll be able to ask questions to folks living in Paris - if you provide a photo of the shoes you're looking for on the forum, they may have seen them in a store.

Best of luck, fingers' crossed, and happy shoe shopping, wherever you are!

Cheers

Hi Tracy, thanks so much for letting me know about the faulty link - it should be all sorted now.

I do so hope you can make your trip to Paris, and maybe you'll be there at the same time as me - I generally go in June/July, but I'm sort-of thinking about a winter trip at the end of the year, fingers' crossed!

Let me know what the first thing is you'd love to do when you get to Paris. I watched an old episode of Sex In The City last night, when Carrie Bradshaw follows her heart to Paris, and I was so nostalgic for my favourite city ... even in the rain :-)

This is a great website. I have enjoyed studying the Google maps of Paris and am wondering if their are individual wall maps for each Arrondissement. Ideally the individual maps would be approximately 3 ft. x 2 ft. or 3 ft. x 3 ft. in size. I want to hang all twenty on walls in a large room. Ideally these maps would include names of streets, parks and major buildings such as churches, museums, government bldgs., etc. I hope someone can steer me in the right direction to turn the room into my very own Arrondissement museum. Thanks.

Hi Diane, So nice to read a comment which isn't total s-p-a-m. I agree, Paris is fabulous over the Christmas / Yuletide season, well worth a wintry visit, with coat, hat, scarves and thick socks :-)
Cheers
