The Silk Painting France Form will register your interest in this fabulous painting on silk adventure. The total payment includes the features detailed, but does not include airfare to and from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France, alcoholic beverages, insurance costs – including health, accident, personal trip-cancellation and baggage (these insurance coverages are required for participation, but are to be chosen and arranged for by each individual participant); transportation of excess baggage; silk dyes and paintbrushes, and all items not specifically mentioned as included.

- Please fill in the form below which is your Acceptance of the Terms; when you send it, it will arrive in my inbox not long after the payment email.
I will then send you an email confirming receipt of both of these items, with more information about our upcoming adventure in Pars :-.

When do I make Payment 2 and Payment 3?
You will receive an email from me letting you know when Payment 2 and Payment 3 are due.
Payment 2 is due 8 weeks prior to Adventure start date, and Payment 3 is due 4 weeks prior to Adventure start date.
1. Reservation and payment for the trip:
Over past years, the value of the dollar has dramatically decreased against the euro, the currency in which Teena Hughes must pay most expenses.
Reservations are accepted in order of receipt if accompanied by a completed reservation form and a deposit.

Single Supplement $US500
If you’d prefer to have a room on your own, you can pay the Single Supplement and I’ll book a room just for you :-)

Additional : Spouse/Companion Supplement $US1,700
Accompanying spouse/companion: includes accommodation, daily breakfast, welcome dinner, farewell dinner, metro and museum pass, transportation to and from airport. Does not include any organised activity with the group.
The Supplement for Spouse/Companion is $US1,700.00.
This means the person who will accompany you needs to pay $US1,700.
The Silk Painting Adventure participant pays $US3,975.00 (the same as other Students).
The total for both people $US5,975.00
Deposit for 2 people : $US2,000.00
Final Payment for 2 people : $US3,975.00

Exchange Rate Fluctuation
In order to keep the rates as low as possible, no allowances are built in to cover conversion rate increases. Since currencies fluctuate constantly around the world, it may be necessary, before departure, to adjust the cost of the tour if significant increases occur.
Though such adjustments have not been made in the past, if adjustments are necessary, you will be notified.
Silk Adventure Kit
Can be purchased when we visit silk supply shops in Paris, or you can bring items with you:
- at least 4 colours of silk DYE (not paints)
- at least 4 soft paintbrushes plus one soft fine paintbrush for detail work
- 2 metres/yards of silk habotai 8 mommie, or Jap silk 8 mommie – or you can simply buy your silk, scarves etc when we go to the silk supplier!
- wooden frame, 2×28″ Artist stretcher bars, 2×14″ Artist stretcher bars – or some other technique you use to stretch your silk
- thumbtacks to attach silk to your wooden frame
- more information will be provided after deposit has been paid.
Cancellation Policy
If you reserve but must cancel:
Should you find it necessary to cancel at any time, you should notify Teena Hughes in writing as soon as you know.
Refunds, less a cancellation fee of $US500 per person, will be made if Teena is notified in writing 60 days before Silk Adventure start date.. There are no refunds for all or any unused portions of the program after this date.
