for Paris 2017
Hello there! My Calendar of Availability was first created to show the Adventures I host in Paris when I visit each year.
If you’ve followed me for some time, you may remember that I visit Paris almost every year for about six weeks. If you’re new here, this will be new information for you :-)
I’m an Australian, and I currently live in Australia (I have also lived in lots of other countries prior to this) and I love visiting my friends in Paris, and having adventures. I like to rent an apartment and get to know the local shopkeepers so that I feel like I’m living in Paris again, like I did for three years when I was about 30 years of age.

I have been planning my upcoming trip for quite some time, and I am thrilled to share the following Adventure dates with you — oooh it would be so lovely to meet you in the city where I’ve left my heart, and show her to you!

ONE-DAY PLUS SIZE SHOPPING ADVENTURE
Not many people know there are some gorgeous plus size designer stores in Paris, and I’d love to show you some of the ones I’ve found — and where I’ve bought some clothes too :-)
- 10:00am to 2:00pm
- we will visit 2-3 plus size stores, and take a break for lunch in a local cafe or restaurant

ARTISAN PARAPLUIE (UMBRELLA) ADVENTURE
Do you love umbrellas like I do? Whether the weather’s wet or dry, umbrellas protect us, and in Paris there are some wonderful artisan umbrella stores, some of which are still using ancient techniques to create beautiful hand-made umbrellas. If this sounds like something you would enjoy, join me as we visit 3 artisan locations, and then grab a bite to eat in a local cafe or restaurant.

COFFEE CONVERSATIONS – A FRENCH CAFE ADVENTURE
While you’re in Paris, why not learn a bit of French conversation? We’ll meet at a café and while we savour our coffee or tea, we can chat in French — yes! even if you’re a beginner. You’ll receive a “cheat sheet” of phrases you can use straight away, from ordering a drink to understanding the suburbs of Paris, and other easy French conversational words and phrases inbetween.
- 10:00am to 11:30am – 1.5 hours
- we will meet in a café
- one coffee/tea per person
- English speaking tutor (me!)
- Thursday 10th September 2015 — 2:00pm to 3:30pm – 1.5 hours
- Tuesday 29th September 2015 — 10:00am to 11:30am – 1.5 hours

I’ve had a love of beautiful paper and pens since I was about ten years old, and this year I’m going to visit some wonderful stationery stores, some with artisan made paper and objects. The love of writing is something which is rare and must be cherished and nurtured — would you like to join me on this adventure?

TACTILE & TEXTILE TIDBITS ADVENTURE
When I’m in Paris I always visit the fabric district to browse and see which fabrics, haberdashery etc are in vogue; I love the feel of the different textiles, being surrounded with the colours of the rainbow, and finding little treasures to take home for my own sewing adventures. If you’d like to join me on one of these excursions, we can meet in the fabric district, browse to our heart’s content for an hour or two, and have a coffee or tea afterwards to share our finds with each other.

- visit and browse in as many stores as we like for an hour (they’re all next to each other)
